AdaptArena – Stadium to Residential Buildings

AdaptArena is a soccer stadium designed for the 2030 FIFA World Cup, jointly hosted in Morocco, with the intent of being converted into 8 mixed use residential buildings, once the event is complete.

It is common for single-event venues to have a poor end of life, this design gives purpose to a stadium that would otherwise not be used to its full potential once the event is complete, while also providing housing to Casablanca’s growing population.


Halcyon Village – Mixed-Use Residential Building

Through the use of form, programming, and materiality, Halcyon Village exudes a welcome environment with a focus on fostering community.

With commercial and amenity space on the first two floors, residents will not need to leave the building for basic needs or desires, strengthening the sense of community. On residential floors, residents will pass through an elevator lobby, designed for people to interact and socialize before retiring to their unit, able to appreciate how at home they feel in the created sense of community.


Rima Creek – Community Centre

The architectural intent of Rima Creek Community community center is to draw people in. It revitalizes Cambridge’s large senior population by providing patrons with a social environment, and a plethora of senior-friendly activities. The design makes use of large circulation areas with plenty of room to rest or chat, supported by strategically placed programs, creating clear intent and ease for anyone looking to use the space.


Washington Park Public Library – Tiny Library


Location: Washington Park, Phoenix, Arizona

This Tiny Library design uses a combination of thermal mass and sun shading devices to passively cool the building, creating a contemporary piece of architecture that provides a welcoming, comfortable environment of knowledge and interest for the people of Phoenix.
